An advertisement in today’s Mid Day edition has
revealed a new special edition model of the Swift. Simply called Maruti Swift
Limited Edition, the model has been launched in petrol and diesel variants
positioned between the LXi/LDi and VXi/VDi trims.
The additional kit on offer includes decals running
across the bonnet, sides, and the roof. There are seat covers along with a
steering wheel cover with highlights that match the decals. The Maruti Swift
Limited Edition features a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto
and Apple CarPlay support. The advertisement lists “Speakers with Extra Bass”
and Carpet Mats as other features.
As per the official Maruti Suzuki website, the
Maruti Swift Limited Edition is priced at INR 5,44,793 and INR 6,39,662
ex-showroom Delhi for the petrol and diesel variants respectively.
MSIL is gearing up to launch the new generation
Swift early next year. It will be showcased to the media on February 7, 2018 at
the Auto Expo and to the public February 9 onwards. The Maruti Swift Limited
Edition has been launched in a bid to push year-end sales and clear stocks of
the current model before the arrival of the new one.
