As for the S 65, it comes standard with Mercedes' all-new Energizing Comfort package, the Warmth Comfort package, Night View Assist Plus, Air Balance package, 360-degree camera, head-up display, Burmester high-end surround system and the Intelligent Light System with Swarovski crystals.

Powering the S 560, which replaces the outgoing S 500, is a new 4.0-liter biturbo V8 petrol unit, good for 469 PS and 700 Nm of torque. The S 63 and S 65 produce 612 PS and 630 PS respectively, the latter utilizing a 6.0-liter V12 rather than a 4.0-liter V8.
