BMW Japan is offering yet another aesthetic upgrade pack for the
regular F30 3 Series range. Called the M Sport Edition Shadow, it was
previously sold as a special edition offering, but now it’s a permanent
addition to the compact executive model.
This includes all 3 Series variants sold in the Land
of the Rising Sun, from the 318i, which is priced at ¥ 5,330,000 to the
range-topping 330e iPerformance that costs ¥ 6,800,000. Firstly, the
kit comes with a blacked-out kidney grille, smoked headlamps and taillights,
19-inch M Sport wheels and a special Sunset Orange paint colour.
The cabin gets black leather upholstery with
contrast blue stitching and steel pedals as standard. As per the usual M Sport
treatment, the rooflining gets an anthracite finish instead of the off-white
material found in Sport and Luxury trims. Otherwise, the rest remains
unchanged.
In Japan, the F30 is available in sedan and estate
(Touring) body styles, and the M Sport Edition Shadow option applies to both.
