Mahindra will soon launch the Mahindra TUV300 Plus
in the market. Autocar India has revealed that the Mahindra TUV300 Plus will
cost INR 9.46 lakh (ex-showroom) in the P4 configuration.
The source of the latest development is a Proforma
Invoice from a dealership in Tamil Nadu. Mahindra will offer the TUV300 Plus
with up to 9 seats. Spy shots have revealed that the bigger version of the
Mahindra TUV300 will have side-facing seats for four passengers behind the
second-row bench. Other than the different seating layout, most of the TUV300
Plus’ interior are expected to look the same as in the TUV300.
The Mahindra TUV300 Plus has some minor exterior
changes from the Mahindra TUV300. It features a longer rear overhang, a bigger
quarter glass, a more forward-leaning D-pillar, larger wraparound tail lamps
and a differently styled rear bumper. The P4 configuration is a basic one, with
black front grille, black bumpers, black exterior mirrors and black exterior
door handles. The TUV300 Plus P4 uses the 120 hp 2.0-litre mHawk120 diesel
engine with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The Mahindra TUV300 will replace the Mahindra Xylo
in India. Its market launch could take place by early 2018.
