The 2018 Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 has been spotted testing. The cruiser gets subtle design changes, and is scheduled to enter the market this month.

The camouflaged test mule sports a single pod instrument cluster, which could be digital. The display on the fuel tank is digital as well, with minor design changes. The fuel tap can be seen below the tank, indicating the presence of a carburettor. The headlamp could feature an LED DRL to keep things interesting. The seating appears to be slightly revised, and the design of the grab rail with back rest seem to be the same as the existing bike. The tail light nacelle appears to be slightly different and is likely to be an LED unit.

Expect the 2018 Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 use the same 220 cc single cylinder mill with air and oil cooling. The engine generates 19.03 PS of power at 8,400 rpm, and 17.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. Transferring the power is a 5-speed transmission.

Suspension bits include telescopic front forks, and twin rear shock absorbers. Brakes include disc at the front and drum at the rear. Expect a single-channel ABS at least as an option. The only competitor for the Avenger range is the Suzuki Intruder in the current market. Bajaj has confirmed that two major launches are lined up this month, which indicates the likelihood of the 2018 Avenger launch.
