The Ford F-150 Raptor is the Blue Oval’s most capable and rugged off-roader. Thanks to a bunch of high-performance parts there’s not much that can slow it down. Pandem rocketbunny tra-kyoto has another idea for the Raptor – a slammed, JDM-inspired take on the rugged pickup.

The company, which is known for taking both the mundane and already-incredible machines, like the Nissan GT-R, and turning them into unforgettable cars, has worked its magic on the F-150 Raptor.

The pickup features a prominent front spoiler, wider fenders, a lowering kit, and a chunkier set of Toyo Tires. The rear end of the vehicle looks like it goes untouched besides a larger set of exhaust outlets.

The styling won’t be for everyone, as the wide body kit and the slammed stance mean that the F-150 Raptor won’t be able to go trekking through the snow. Still, this is so far out there that we can’t help but love it.

The real pickup will be on display at the 2018 Tokyo Auto Salon, which begins on January 12. The modified F-150 Raptor will be on hand at the Toyo Tires stand at the auto show alongside some other rad vehicles – BJ Baldwin’s trophy truck and Ken Block’s Hoonicorn V2.
