The Datsun Go arrived in mid-2013 and could receive
a facelift for MY2018. The 2018 Datsun Go was allegedly spied in Indonesia
recently, courtesy Autonetmagz.
In an image of the recently unveiled Datsun Go
Cross, a Datsun Go with exterior changes is visible in the background. This is
allegedly the facelifted Datsun Go. The new model seems to have a slimmer lower
air intake, vertical fog lamp housing and a remodelled bumper. More exterior
changes are likely but remain unknown at the moment.
Inside, the 2018 Datsun Go could feature a new
centre console with a design similar to that of the Datsun Go Cross. The
revisions may include rectangular air vents in place of circular air vents, new
temperature controls and a 6.75-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The
current model is available only with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 68
PS and 104 Nm of torque and a 5-speed manual transmission. In the new model,
Datsun could offer a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 78 PS and 104 Nm of
torque in conjunction with a continuously variable transmission as an option.
The 2018 Datsun Go may arrive later this year,
probably first in Indonesia or India.
