Suzuki Motorcycle India has unveiled its 125 cc luxury scooter, the Suzuki Burgman Street at the 2018 Auto Expo.


The Suzuki Burgman Street has a characteristic European styling derived from the Burgman range, which is sold in the international market. Key features include LED headlamps; body-mount windscreen; flexible outstretched foot position, and a front disc with combination braking system. Instrumentation is an all-digital affair.

The Suzuki Burgman Street employs a 124.3 cc single cylinder SOHC engine with air cooling. A carburettor feeds the fuel, and the transmission is a CVT unit. The front end features telescopic fork, and the rear gets a hydraulic type shock absorber. The rear comes with a drum brake.


The 12-inch front and the 10-inch rear alloy wheels are shod with 90/90 and 90/100 tubeless tyres respectively. The Suzuki Burgman Street measures 1,884 mm in length; 661 mm in width, and 1,163 mm in height. The company has not revealed the power and torque figures yet. Expect more details in the days ahead. When launched, it would rival Honda Grazia, TVS Ntorq 125, Suzuki Access 125, Vespa SXL/VXL 125 in its segment.
