TVS Motor Company has introduced a Matte Purple
colour variant of the TVS Scooty Zest 110. At INR 49,211, ex-showroom, Delhi,
the price is the same as other matte colour offerings.
As the name suggests, it comes
with matte purple colour bodywork, with colour-matching rear view mirrors. The
premium seat comes in a dual-tone beige and brown combination. The interior
panels have a Silver-Oak finish, which is exclusive to the matte series and the
grab rail is finished in silver. The powertrain, suspension and wheels are all
black. Notable features include a 19-litre under seat storage with boot light
and USB charger. The apron houses a small LED DRL as well.
Powering the TVS Scooty Zest 110 is a 109.7 cc
single cylinder CVTi engine. It generates 7.99 PS at 7,500 rpm, and 8.4 Nm of
torque at 5,500 rpm. For suspension, the scooter employs telescopic front fork,
and a double-rated hydraulic monoshock at the rear. The scooter weighs just 97
kg, kerb, and has a five-litre fuel tank. Brakes include a 110 mm front and a
130 mm rear drum. The 10-inch wheels are shod with 90-section tubeless tyres.
Key rivals of the TVS Scooty Zest 110 include Honda
Activa i, Hero Pleasure, Suzuki Let’s, and Yamaha Ray-Z. In the Matte Series,
other colours on offer are Matte Blue, Matte Black, Matte Red, and Matte
Yellow.
