Hero MotoCorp has launched the Hero Xtreme 200R in Turkey as the Hero Hunk 200R. Hero unveiled the Xtreme 200R in the Indian market in January. The bike is likely to enter the market next month.

The design of the Hero Hunk 200R is same as the Xtreme, but comes with Hunk badging on the tank extensions. The bike also comes with fuel injection to comply with the local norms. The 199 cc single cylinder engine develops 18.4 hp of power and 17.1 Nm of torque. Pairing with the mill is a 5-speed gearbox. The fuel injected variant is not available in the Indian market as of now.

The engine sits inside a diamond type frame, which rides on telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock. The motorcycle comes with single-channel ABS as standard, with front and rear disc brakes. The 17-inch tyres are shod with 100-section front and 130-section rear tubeless tyres. Instrumentation is an analogue-digital combo affair.

The Hero Hunk 200R costs TRL 11,199 (approximately INR 1.85 lakhs), and is available only in Red colour. One of its primary rivals in the Turkish market is the 2018 Bajaj Pulsar NS 200. It costs TRY 14,490 (INR 2.47 lakhs). In the Indian market, it competes with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. Hero MotoCorp is also reportedly planning to introduce multiple bikes in the premium segment in the next 6-18 months.
