At the recently-concluded
Malaysia Bike Week at Malaysia Agro Exhibition Park Serdang (MAEPS), Sultan
Ibrahim Ismail of Johor brought his personal collection to the event, one of
which is this massive, custom-built 2009 Ford F-650 super truck.
As you can see, the Sultan of Johor’s F-650 comes
with a number of chrome elements, including on the bumpers, grille, wheels and
even the fuel storage units. It also gets a Mustang-themed livery, with a
two-toned look for the top and bottom halves of the truck.
Those fuel tanks are piped to a Cummins ISB 6.7
litre six-cylinder turbodiesel engine, which is paired with an Allison
six-speed automatic transmission. The engine is available in a variety of
outputs, ranging from 220 hp/705 Nm to a more alluring 360 hp/1,085 Nm.
The F-650 sports an extended dual-cab setup,
although the entire section beyond the rearmost door handles is completely
custom. Based on the utility box on the roof, we reckon the interior has been
redone with a better focus on luxury and comfort instead of maximum carrying
capacity.
