Tata will
soon add XZ trim to the Nexon range. Team-BHP has shared a brochure scan
revealing the features of the soon to be launched Tata Nexon XZ. The XZ grade slots in between XT and XZ+.
In comparison to the range topping XZ+ trim, XZ
misses out on LED DRLs, alloy wheels, centre console with front armrest and
tambour sliding door, rear centre armrest, 60:40 split folding rear seat, front
fog lamps with cornering assistance, rear fog lamp, rear defogger, and smart
key with push button start.
Feature highlights of the Tata Nexon XZ include
floating dashtop touchscreen with Android Auto support, reverse parking camera,
projector headlights, height adjustable driver’s seat and seatbelts, voice
command, 4 tweeters, and day/night IRVM. It also gets multiple driving modes,
electric folding rear view mirrors, rear AC vents, and cooled glovebox. The
XZ trim will not get the dual tone exterior
colour options. The standard palette includes five choices – Moroccan Blue,
Vermont Red, Calgary White, Seattle Silver, and Glasgow Grey.
Tata offer the Nexon with two engine choices – 1.2 L
Revotron turbo petrol and 1.5 L Revotorq turbo diesel. Both engines have a peak
power output of 110 PS. Torque figures for the petrol and diesel variants stand
at 170 Nm and 260 Nm respectively. A 5-speed manual transmission option is the
only one on offer currently. The price of the Tata Nexon XZ will be announced
in the coming days.
