The 2018 Suzuki Ertiga will debut at IIMS 2018 next week. A new report from Autonetmagz says that, as expected, it will come with a 1.5L petrol engine.

It is unknown whether this engine is the Suzuki S-Cross’ M15A 1.5-litre VVT unit that produces 109 PS and 138 Nm of torque or a newly developed unit. This same unit may find its place in the 2018 Suzuki Ertiga. If the engine in question is the M15A unit, it could come with 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions.

Another new development, specific to Indonesia, is the discontinuation of the Suzuki Ertiga Dreza. Suzuki will not offer a more stylish Dreza variant of the all-new Suzuki Ertiga, at least not at launch. Bigger and more spacious than its predecessor, the second-gen Suzuki Ertiga will have a more contemporary design and compete directly with the likes of Mitsubishi Xpander internationally.
