Cadillac Canada announced the pricing details of the
all-new 2019 XT4, which is set for a launch this fall. The new Cadillac ‘baby’
SUV will start from CA$ 41,900, including a CA$ 2,000 delivery freight charge.
Based on an exclusive compact SUV architecture, the
new Cadillac XT4 uses a more modern interpretation of the company’s design
language that includes sharp-looking LED lights all around that complement the
dynamic bodywork.
Cadillac expects the new 2019 XT4 to offer class-leading
rear-seat comfort, with passengers getting 39.5 inches of rear legroom and the
luggage space able to hold up to 1,385 lt with the rear seat
folded.
The interior also features a new, eight-inch
infotainment system with improved voice recognition and NFC connectivity. A
wireless phone charger, air ionizer and a high-end Bose system are also among
the cabin’s features.
So far there’s only one engine option in the form of
a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that makes 237 hp and 258 lb-ft of peak
torque. The powerplant is paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Customers will get the option to choose between front- and all-wheel drive.
The new 2019 Cadillac XT4 will become the company’s
first model to adopt their new trim strategy. Premium Luxury and Sport levels
will join the well-equipped Luxury version, with each one offering specific
content and styling cues. The new trim strategy is also going to be applied on
the 2019 CT6 flagship sedan.
