So you’ve decided to order a new Porsche. Next
you’ll need to pick what model you want. Porsche currently offers five lines,
with numerous variants available of each. But even once you’ve narrowed it down
to which version of the 911, 718, Panamera, Macan, or Cayenne you want, you’ll
still have a lot of choices to make. And the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur
department doesn’t make it any easier.
Zuffenhausen’s personalization department has been
customizing the German performance automobiles for decades. And today it offers
a staggering array of options, on top of those offered as standard from the
factory.
It’s a four-door
Turbo model – just one of 16 engine and bodystyle combinations offered. Porsche
Exclusive has done this one up in a light shade of grey called Chalk in the US,
or Crayon overseas.
It’s rolling on what looks like a set of 21-inch
alloys that are just one of a baker’s dozen wheel options available, with red
brake calipers. Inside it’s all decked out in brown leather, with unique
aluminum and wood trim and an anthracite Alcantara headliner. Pretty nice, if
you ask us. And Porsche Design offers just the watch to go with it, too.
There’s at least US$ 10k in options, and those are just
the ones we can see. This on top of the UA$ 150k starting price for a new Panamera
Turbo. And that’s not even the most expensive variant offered. Go for the
top-of-the-line Turbo S E-Hybrid Executive, with its plug-in hybrid powertrain
and long wheelbase, and you’ll be looking at nearly US$ 200k before you even delve
into the long list of options.
