The India-made third-gen Suzuki Dzire has debuted in the Philippines at the 2018 Manila International Auto Show. The all-new sub-compact sedan will go on sale in the country later this year.

The all-new Suzuki Dzire showcased at 2018 MIAS is devoid of high-end features like LED projector headlamps with DRLs, two-tone precision-cut alloy wheels, Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system and automatic climate control. It is equipped with chrome accent front grille, single-tone double-spoke alloy wheels, LED tail lights, chrome tailgate garnish, steering-mounted audio controls and audio player with Bluetooth connectivity. This indicates that it is in the V grade.

The 2018 Suzuki Dzire measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,735 mm in width and 1,515 mm in height. It has a 2,450 mm wheelbase. Under the hood, is a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 83 PS at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm. The display model is equipped with a 5-speed automated manual transmission – a first for any car in the Philippines, but a 5-speed manual transmission is expected in the entry-level configuration(s) when the car is launched. Suzuki does not offer the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine in the Philippine-spec Suzuki Dzire.

Suzuki is yet to release complete specifications for the PH-spec Dzire.
