Volkswagen has prepared a host of new vehicles for the next week’s Beijing Auto Show. Most of them are limited to the Chinese market, such as the Tayron SUV, Lavida Plus and Lavida Grand Plus, but the German automaker will also introduce the new Touareg and I.D. Vizzion Concept.

The study debuted at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show last month and represents much more than a pretty face. It’s an all electric saloon with Level 5 autonomous tech, which takes care of the entire driving aspect, so it lacks a steering wheel, pedals and conventional dashboard.

While a fully autonomous, Level 5 self-driving car won’t be available to customers in the near future, the rest of the tech could very well make its way into the final production model. The I.D. Vizzion Concept uses two electric motors and a 111kWh lithium-ion battery for a 0-100 km/h in 6.3 seconds, a top speed of 180 km/h and a NEDC-estimated range of 664 km.

Volkswagen released a short teaser video that presents it out in the open for the first time.
