If you appreciate automotive restorations and
haven’t heard of Icon 4×4 by now, you’re likely in the minority – as this
customization house makes some of the most breathtaking vehicles we’ve ever
seen. Case in point: this 1965 Kaiser Jeep Wagoneer from their Reformer
project.
The goal of this vehicle was to create the ultimate
American family beach crusier; and, by god, we think they’ve done brilliantly.
From its 6.2-liter E-Rod LS3 engine (capable of 440 horsepower) under the hood,
to the quilted upholstery on its bench seats, to the wood inserts around the
body, this off-road ready SUV screams Americana.
The vehicle also underwent a full frame-off
restoration, was fitted with new Brembo brakes and Fox shocks, and even got
brand-spanking-new gauges and A/C vents in the cockpit that were inspired by
the originals. Unfortunately, this gorgeous resto-modded Jeep is already spoken
for by some very lucky so-and-so.
