Audi has revealed the facelifted version of the 2019
A4 Sedan and Avant models, showcasing a refreshed design in line with the
company’s latest products. The changes are subtle as expected, with the 2019
Audi A4 featuring new bumpers with pentagonal contours and wheel designs, both
in standard and S-Line forms.
The new front bumper also features separate openings
in the air inlets that guide a portion of the airflow into the wheel housings.
S Line-equipped models get a new front grille with slats in a 3D look, while a
blade finishes off the lower part.
Other design differences include a pair of wide,
trapezoidal exhaust tailpipes that replace the previous round ones, an RS rear
spoiler on the A4 Avant and a new Turbo Blue paint finish.
The new S Line competition package adds things like
Audi Sport 19-inch wheels, red brake calipers, sport suspension and LED
headlights. Inside you get RS carbon inlays and black partial leather sport
seats. As an option, customers can get S sport seats in Magma Red or in other
colors.
Audi didn’t mention any technical differences, so
the new 2019 A4 Sedan and Avant models keep their oily bits unchanged. That
includes a really wide range of powertrain options, from a turbocharged
1.4-liter petrol TFSI to a 3.0-liter V6 TDI diesel, with versions running on
CNG sprinkled in between in Euro-spec models.
Pre-sales of the new 2019 Audi A4 Sedan and Avant
will start in the third quarter of 2018.
