The upcoming Pagani Huayra BC Roadster has been
caught on film for the very first time. While filming in
Italy recently, YouTuber effspot stumbled upon a camouflage BC Roadster
prototype bathed in camouflage and testing near the company’s factory.
Typically, droptop variants of supercars are slightly slower and heavier than their coupe counterparts. The opposite is expected to be true for the Huayra BC Roadster. As it stands, the existing Huayra Roadster is a substantial 80 kg lighter than the Huayra Coupe. Consequently, the BC Roadster should probably be even lighter than the BC Coupe and weigh under 1199 kg.
Power for the Italian supercar will come from a
6.0-liter twin-turbocharged AMG V12 engine with upwards of 800 hp. Alongside
further refinements to the vehicle’s chassis and transmission, it should prove
the most capable road-going Pagani ever produced.
Production of the car will be limited to just 20
units. In typical Pagani fashion, all 20 are said to be have been sold.
