The collaboration between Seat and Beats started
last year, with the automaker offering the BeatsAudio as an optional extra in
some of its vehicles. The partnership between the two companies has taken
a step forward with the introduction of the Ibiza and Arona Beats.
The special edition models sport Eclipse Orange side
mirrors and the ‘BeatsAudio‘ logo on the boot. They’re also available in a new
color called Magnetic Tech, in addition to the existing Eclipse Orange, Urban
Silver, Midnight Black and Nevada White.
Three dual-tone looks based on Nevada White, with
contrasting roof, are offered as optional extras. Chrome window moldings,
full-led headlights and LED DRLs set them apart furthermore from the rest of
the Ibiza and Arona range.
Seat has also fitted illuminated sill plates,
Eclipse Orange contrast stitching on the steering wheel, handbrake lever, gear
selector and infotainment frame, and Ice Metal interior door panels.
MirrorLink, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are part
of the standard equipment list, alongside the new Digital Cockpit and, of
course, the BeatsAudio premium sound system. The latter has a 300-watt
amplifier, 7 speakers (including two tweeters), two woofers and an integrated
subwoofer in the spare wheel space.
The Ibiza Beats can be ordered with four petrol and
four diesel engines, with outputs between 75 PS and 115 PS, whereas the Arona Beats is available with three petrol units and three
diesels.
