The Tesla Model X may be a lot of things, but we
wouldn’t call it aggressive-looking, per se. Futuristic, sure. Even stylish,
from certain angles. But T Sportline has taken the seven-seat EV in a far more
sinister direction.
Self-described as the “world’s first Tesla tuner,” T
Sportline has come out with a new widebody package for the electric crossover.
Called the T Largo, it’s based on the top-of-the-line P100D model. But its
carbon-fiber body kit adds more than two inches (5 cm) on either side to give
the Model X a more planted look.
It also packs a new front apron, bumper, side
skirts, diffuser, and rear wing – all made from pre-impregnated carbon fiber
baked in an autoclave, like they should be. And into those flared wheel arches,
it’s packed a new set of 22-inch forged alloys with Pirelli Scorpion Zero
tires.
Considering that the Tesla Model X P100D will
already rocket to 60 in under three seconds flat, it evidently didn’t feel it
necessary to tinker with the electric powertain.
T Sportline says it will only make 20 of these
packages available, although we’re sure it can hook up interested parties with
most (if not all) of the individual components if so desired. Each example will
be individually made to the customer’s specifications, including custom paint
or wrapping, interior, audio system, window tinting the works, in short. It’ll
even help you source a donor vehicle, should the customer not already have one
of the US$ 140,000 electric crossovers in their garage to modify.
