The 2018 Moto Guzzi V7 III Carbon will soon be released in Malaysia. While Moto Guzzi Malaysia declined to provide any pricing, paultan.org was allowed to have a close first look at the V7 III Carbon, one of 1,921 units produced.

Covered in a matte satin finish, the limited edition V7 III Carbon gives off a sleek, futuristic look while still retaining the classic Guzzi lines. The front and rear guard are now shortened and are made of carbon-fibre, along with the side covers.

Off-setting the all-black paintwork are the cylinder head covers painted in matte red, and the Brembo brake calliper in gloss red. The seat on the V7 III Carbon is made from Alcantara leather, with special stitching unique to this edition.

The V7 III carries an air-cooled transverse V-twin that displaces 744 cc, with power rated at 52 hp at 6,200 rpm and 60 Nm of torque at 4,900 rpm. Carrying a 21-litre fuel tank, the V7 III Stone has a claimed wet weight of 209 kg, rolling on an 18-inch wheel up front and a 17-incher at the back.

Other models in the 2018 Moto Guzzi V7 III range are the Stone (RM 63,113), Special (RM 67,830), Racer (RM 77,264) and Annversario (RM 76,321). The 2018 Moto Guzzi V7 III Carbon is scheduled to be launched July 14.
