domestic market on 18 July. In the MY2019 update, the BMW G 310 R gets new colour options in the
form of the Racing Red and HP Motorsport (Pearl White with HP lettering). Apart from the new cosmetics,
the bike remains the same.
The BMW G 310 R has taken a long time to arrive in
India, despite the bike's production, for exports, having started in 2016. The
bike debuted in India at the Auto Expo 2016, and more recently at the Auto Expo
2018 alongside the BMW G 310 GS. The BMW G 310 R will go up against the KTM 390
Duke in the Indian market.

fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine that is capable of producing a maximum
power of 34 bhp at 9500 rpm along with a peak torque of 28 Nm at 7500 rpm,
mated to a 6-speed transmission. The bike features 41 mm upside down forks up
front and a pre-load adjustable rear mono-shock.
The BMW G 310 R features 17-inch alloy wheels that
use to a 110-section front and 150-section rear Michelin Pilot Street tires.
Key features on the G 310 R comprises switchable ABS, LED taillights and an
all-digital instrument cluster. Stopping power comes from disc brakes at both
the ends with radial mounted floating callipers. As far as pricing is
concerned, we expect the G 310 R around INR 3 lakh (ex-showroom).
