According to Citroen, the SpaceTourer Rip Curl
features “exceptional comfort and versatility”, distinctive color themes,
high-quality materials and plenty of tech. Prices in the UK start from £ 34,700
and it is already available for order.
The entry-level version is powered by a 1.5-liter
BlueHDI 120 PS diesel, whereas the more expensive £ 36,180 one comes
with a 150 PS, 2.0-liter BlueHDi unit. Both versions are equipped with
6-speed manual transmissions.
Based on the Feel trim level, the Rip Curl adds Onyx
Black door mirrors and side rubbing strips, to go with the tinted side windows.
Other exterior features include the 17-inch ‘Curve’ monotone alloys and special
decals on the front doors. Customers will be able to choose between Polar
White, Arctic Steel, Platinum Grey, Black and Soft Sand exteriors.
Inside, the French MPV boasts a 3.5-inch color
display, illuminated chrome plate surrounds, a full-grain multi-function
leather steering wheel, special floor mats, plus a wide array of safety and
convenience tech such as the color head-up display, keyless entry and start,
blind spot monitoring (optional), hill start assist and the Citroen Connect Box
with SOS Pack.
The SpaceTourer Rip Curl can be had with 5-seats as
standard, but can also take up to 8 passengers with luggage if you opt for the
XL version.
