Not so long ago we admired the stylish looking of
the crossover Lynk & Co 03, later another 02 cross was presented, and
already now the company teases car enthusiasts with photos of the sedan 03. The
model will be available by the end of the year, and will be available both in
China and in Europe.
Lynk & Co is a joint venture between Geely and
Volvo, whose target audience is the younger generation. First of all, the cars
of this brand stand out for their design with non-traditional solutions.
The car is almost
identical to the eponymous concept presented earlier this year. The only
difference that we managed to consider is another front bumper and a rear
spoiler in black. Also, experts suggest that the company could present photos
of the “sport” version, and the basic modification will fully comply with the
concept.
According to preliminary data, the length of the
sedan Lynk & Co 03 is 4 639 mm, width – 1 840 mm, height – 1,460 mm,
wheelbase size is 2,730 mm. In all likelihood, the sedan will be built on the
basis of the new CMA platform, also developed by the joint efforts of the two
companies, and already used on the crossovers of Lynk & Co and the Volvo
XC40.
Under the hood of the sedan, you can see a 1.5-liter
turbo engine with a maximum output of up to 156 horsepower. A similar motor is
installed on other models of the brand, but the crossovers are also equipped
with a 179-horsepower version of a 1.5-liter engine and a turbo-four Volvo 2.0
with a return of 190 hp.
Coupled with the engine will be offered a six-speed
manual transmission, or a robotic transmission for seven steps. In addition, a
hybrid modification with a total capacity of up to 256 hp can be
presented later. In Europe, sales of Lynk & Co cars can begin as early as 2020.
