The Peugeot 308 family has gained a new Tech Edition trim level in the United Kingdom, available in two body styles: hatchback and estate. It carries a £ 22,400 (US$ 29,481) starting price in the case of the former, which puts it 1,450 (Us$ 1,908) above the Allure grade, although it adds several new features over the existing Allure.

Peugeot’s new 308 Tech Edition brings chrome trim for the grille and window surrounds, aluminum door sill finishers, 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, panoramic glass roof with electric blind and aluminum roof bars for the SW.

Inside, it comes with Alcantara seats with double overstitch details in orange and blue, sporty front seats with elongated cushion bases and aluminum style pedals. Peugeot says the LED interior light improves “comfort and convenience”, and the car benefits from reversing camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear central armrest with ski flap, City Park, parking sensors on both ends, and others.

The driving assistance pack includes adaptive cruise control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Driver Attention Alert, Smartbeam Assistance, Active Lane Keeping Assistance, Active Blind Spot Detection and speed limit recognition and recommendation.

Clients can choose between two engine options in the case of the Peugeot 308 Tech Edition. The first one is a 1.2-liter petrol with 130 PS, and the second one is a 1.5-liter diesel, with 130 PS. Both of them can be paired to either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
