The sleek-roofed Porsche SUV has been spotted
testing in public once more, here looking much more resolved than what
previously appeared to be a Panamera on stilts.
The front end of the test vehicle here appears to be
just about identical to that of the standard Cayenne bodystyle. The coupe distinctions begin at
the middle of the front door, where the top of the window frame appears to
sport a slightly more pronounced kink. Despite the cladding on the rear end, this can
be expected to wear a set of slim tail lights as seen on the current Cayenne
and the Panamera.
Dashboard architecture should follow suit, with a
central tachometer flanked by a seven-inch screen on each side, and a 12.0-inch
central infotainment screen. Naturally, the new sloping roofline dictates that
rear occupant headroom and luggage compartment capacity will be reduced from
the standard Cayenne.
Set for a debut later this year, the Porsche Cayenne
Coupe could make its appearance at the Paris Motor Show. Powertrain options
could likely include V6 and V8 biturbo engines, possibly even the 680 hp/850 Nm
plug-in hybrid drivetrain from the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid.
