IAB has now got hold of images of the Matte Grey variant of the baby Burgman. According to potential customers who got in touch with IAB, the maxi-scooter is priced at INR 71,938 (ex-showroom Mumbai), while dealerships are accepting bookings for the Suzuki Burgman Street at an initial amount of INR 5,000. The Burgman Street costs INR 83,700 (on the road, Mumbai), according to our readers. While the company will reveal the scooter prices on 19 July, display models have reached Suzuki dealerships across the country.

Suzuki will commence deliveries of Burgman Street post the scooter's launches on 19 July. The Suzuki Burgman Street is available in three colour schemes – Black, Matte Grey, and Pearl White. Suzuki will position the Burgman Street above the Access 125 in the domestic market. The maxi-scooter made its Indian debut at the Auto Expo 2018 with design elements from the flagship Suzuki Burgman 650.

Set to become the only maxi-scooter in the domestic market, the Burgman Street features a bulbous fairing. The Burgman features a high-set visor, broad & comfortable seat, and wide handlebars. The two-wheeler comes with all-around LED lighting, a multi-function key slot, an all-digital instrument cluster, 12V Smartphone charging socket, and 21.5 litres of under-seat storage capacity.

The Suzuki Burgman Street employs an Access 125 sourced 124.3 cc engine with carburetted fuelling that produces 8.4 bhp of maximum power at 6,500 rpm and 10.2 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm. The engine pairs to a CVT transmission. The two-wheeler will rival the Honda Grazia, TVS Ntorq 125 and Aprilia SR 125. The maxi-scooter tips the scales at 110 kg, with a fuel tank capacity of 5.6 litres.

Telescopic front forks and an adjustable rear mono-shock shoulder suspension responsibility on the Burgman. Anchorage comes from a disc brake up front and a rear drum brake, while CBS (combined braking system) is standard on the maxi-scooter. The Suzuki Burgman Street runs on 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels draped with 90-section tubeless tires.
