Polish tuner called
Auto-Dynamics has given the current BMW X5 M a few upgrades, with the most
important one lifting the output beyond that of the Lamborghini Urus.
By re-tuning the
ECU, adding bigger air filters, an Akrapovic exhaust system made from titanium,
and having their way with other internals, Auto-Dynamics have pushed the
twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine to deliver 670 PS and 880N m of torque.
As a reminder, the
stock BMW X5 M comes with 575 PS and 750 Nm of torque.
It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 sec and up to a top speed that’s
electronically capped at 250 km/h.
Auto-Dynamics’
modified example is thus way quicker to 100 km/h, getting there in 3.5
seconds. And if you think that’s not impressive at all, remember that this is a
vehicle that weighs some 2.4 tons. Just for kicks, we’ll also
remind you that the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4, which can hit 100 km/h in 3.2
sec, is one ton lighter than the X5 M.
As for aesthetics,
the Polish tuner will give your high-performance SUV a satin black look on the
outside, a Hamann suspension lowering kit and a set of 22-inch alloy wheels,
with a dark theme.
