Holden has unveiled the Colorado Z71 Xtreme, which is based on the Colorado
Xtreme concept vehicle from the 2016 Bangkok International Motor Show. The new
variant of the pick-up is based on the range-topping Colorado Z71, and adds on
a long list of concept vehicle inspired genuine accessories that have been
designed and developed in Australia.
Items include a
high visibility LED light bar, upgraded front suspension, 18-inch Goodyear
Wrangler all-terrain tyres and a vehicle recovery kit as well as a
best-in-class winch system, which features a heavy-duty bash plate as well as
10,000 lb load capacity and a 30 metre synthetic line.
Additional bits
include fender flares, a bonnet bulge add-on, a soft tonneau cover, rear steel
step, a roof tray kit as Xtreme branding decals as well as a large Colorado
decal on the tailgate. The pick-up also gets an assortment of black-out items,
in this case the grille, tubular side steps and sports bar.
No revisions to the
powertrain, with the standard Z71’s 2.8 litre Duramax VGT turbodiesel
continuing to offer 193 hp and 500 Nm in terms of output. The company says that
the Z71 Xtreme, which will hit the showrooms on October 1, will be a limited
edition model.
