Three years after introducing the D-Max Fury in the
United Kingdom, Isuzu has performed a few updates to their special edition
truck. Available for pre-order with a starting price of £ 22,499 (US$ 29,432/€ 25,609),
without tax, the first units will arrive in dealerships next January.
Finished in the same Magma Red, the pickup truck now
sits on larger 18-inch alloy wheels, with a Dark Grey look. The rest of the Isuzu D-Max
Fury’s exterior is adorned with a Dark Grey grille with red Isuzu badge, Cosmic
Black side mirrors with indicators, black door handles and tailgate handle, gun
metal side steps and Fury decal.
Inside, things are a bit different as well, with
cloth upholstery with a Dark Grey look, red overstitching on soft pad armrests
and steering wheel, and special floor mats with Fury branding. Some of the
standard equipment featured in the reworked Isuzu D-Max Fury includes a 7-inch
infotainment system, CD player, reversing camera, air conditioning and front
and rear USB ports.
Isuzu hasn’t mentioned anything about the fire power
of the D-Max Fury, but we’re likely looking at the same twin-turbo 2.5-liter
diesel engine as before. It makes 163 PS and 400 Nm of torque, and can had with either a manual or an automatic
transmission. The 3.5-ton towing capability is being retained, as are
the 125,000-mile (201,168 km) / 5-year warranty, and 5-year roadside assistance
across Europe.
