The LX 570 S comes with a
series of exclusive features aimed at giving it a bold look and improved
handling. Those include a more aggressive body kit, large alloy wheels, front
performance damper, semi-aniline leather-accented trim, and alloy pedals.
The exterior sports
sharp front and rear bumper skirts, gloss black 21-inch forged alloy wheels,
and an exclusive mesh pattern for the spindle grille. More subtle details
include the courtesy lamps in the side mirrors that project “LX S” branding on
the ground, and the LX 570 S badge on the rear.
Australian
customers can have the LX 570 S in two exterior colors: Sonic Quartz and
Starlight Black. Inside, Lexus’ range-topping LX brings semi-aniline perforated
leather trim available in Black or a rich burgundy color named Garnet that’s
unique for the LX 570 S. The Shimamoku Grey ornamentation is also exclusive to
the LX 570 S. The alloy pedals round off the interior tweaks. Complementing
these sporty parts is a front performance damper that’s said to improve body
rigidity and steering stability.
The LX 570 S is loaded with standard technology, safety, and
luxury features. The Lexus Safety System + includes a pre-collision safety
system with pedestrian detection, radar active cruise control, lane departure
warning, adaptive high-beam system, head-up display, blind-spot monitor and
rear cross-traffic alert.
The list of
standard features continues with a reversing camera with an almost 180-degree
field of view, 10 airbags, four-camera multi-terrain monitor and panoramic view
monitor. Standard comfort features include a heated steering wheel, four-zone
climate control air conditioning, as well as ventilation and heating for the
front and outboard second-row seats. Finally, the LX 570 S offers a 12.3-inch
infotainment system with satellite navigation.
All Lexus LX 570 S
models are powered by a 5.7-liter V8 gasoline engine rated at 367 PS/362 hp and
530 Nm of torque. The power plant is mated to an eight-speed
automatic transmission. Prices in Australia start from AUD 168,089 (US$ 119,110), an AUD 6,500 premium over the model on which it is based, the LX 570
with Enhancement Pack.
