Choosing the right
car can, most of the times, be a stressful experience. But even when you’ve
settled on the make and model, you’ll still have to choose its specs – and
Renault UK, for one, wants to make that process easier.
The French
automaker has rolled out new EasyLife versions of three more of its models: the
Scenic, Grand Scenic, and Koleos, which join the Clio, Megane, and Captur that
are already offered in the same framework.
Not unlike what
Mini has done in the British market, the Renault EasyLife framework narrows the
trim levels down to just a few key versions. The Scenic and Grand Scenic
minivans now come in three trim levels (instead of four), and the Koleos
crossover in just two versions.
Scenic models (in
both five- and seven-seat configurations) can be had in base Play, mid-level
Iconic, and top-of-the-line Signature trims. And the Koleos can be had in
Iconic or GT Line versions. Customers will still be able to choose between
powertrain options, but even those have been streamlined to just one gasoline
and one diesel for the Scenic and Grand Scenic, and one diesel for the Koleos,
with either front- or four-wheel drive.
Pricing for the
Scenic in the UK now ranges from £ 21,390 to £ 26,130, the Grand Scenic from £23,190 to £ 27,930, and the Koleos from £ 27,495 to £ 31,495. Those entry prices
represent savings of £ 620 off the previous versions of the Scenic and Grand
Scenic, and £ 550 off last year’s Koleos.
