TVS Motor Company has launched a new variant for
its commuter motorcycle, TVS Star City+ for the festive season. The new variant
of the TVS Star City+ features a Grey & Black dual-tone paint, dual tone
mirrors, 'Ecothrust' 110cc engine and Synchronized Braking Technology (SBT).
The dual tone edition is priced at INR 52,907 (Ex-Showroom Delhi) and is
available at all TVS Motor Company showrooms across India.
The new variant also features the TVS chrome 3D
label, a crown visor, and a black grab rail. Apart from the new Grey-Black
colour, the TVS Star City+ dual tone editions are also available in Black-Red,
Black-Blue and Red-Black colour options.
Mechanical specifications remain identical to the
existing TVS Star City+ and the motorcycle comes equipped with a four-speed
gearbox. The 110cc “Ecothrust” engine delivers 8.4 PS of maximum power @ 7,000
rpm and 8.7 Nm of peak torque @ 5,000 rpm.
TVS Motor Company’s combined braking system or
linked braking system, christened Synchronized Braking Technology (SBT),
activates the front and rear brake simultaneously, thus aimed to ensure safety
of the rider.
