will feature an engine belly fairing, new graphics and a revised instrument
console.
According to a report dated 5 December, Bajaj Auto
is expected to update the Pulsar range with ABS in early 2019. The new safety
norms by the Government of India, mandates all the existing and new
two-wheelers above 125cc to be equipped with at least a single-channel ABS unit
as standard before the next fiscal year.
Apart from the introduction of ABS, the 2019 Bajaj
Pulsar 150 will feature new graphics and an engine belly fairing. The 2019
Bajaj Pulsar range is likely to feature a single-channel ABS unit with an RLP
(rear-wheel lift protection) sensor at the back. We don't expect changes to the
mechanicals or the engine.
Powering the 2019 Bajaj Pulsar 150 ABS model will be
the 149.5cc, single-cylinder DTS-I motor. The carburetted engine is tuned to
produce 14 PS of power and 13.4 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed
transmission.
