Bajaj Auto has launched the new Platina 110 in India, priced at INR 49,197 (ex-showroom Delhi). The new model will compete with the Hero Passion Pro 110, TVS Radeon and the Honda CD 110 Dream DX. The all-new Bajaj Platina 110 has started reaching dealerships across the country. The Platina 110 comes equipped with ‘Anti-Skid Braking’, which is Bajaj’s interpretation of Combi-Braking System (CBS).

Powering the Bajaj Platina 110 is the Discover 110's 115.45cc, air-cooled, SOHC DTS-i engine. The single-cylinder mill is good for a maximum power of 8.6 PS at 7,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 9.81 Nm at 5,000 rpm. It is mated to a four-speed transmission. The Platina 110 offers the highest torque figures in its class.

Braking duties are performed by 130 mm front and 110 mm rear drum brakes. The motorcycle employs telescopic forks at the front and twin spring-in-spring (SnS) gas-charged Nitrox shock absorbers at the back. The Bajaj Platina 110 features an LED DRL above the headlight and new graphics.

The Bajaj Platina 110 is available in three colour schemes: Cocktail Wine Red, Ebony Black with Grey Decals and Ebony Black with Blue Decals. The Bajaj Platina accounts for sales of over 48,000 units per month, and the new variant will likely take that count higher.
