The new RAM HD Laramie Longhorn wants to set the benchmark for premium full-size pickup trucks and it does so with layers of expensive materials inside its cabin.

The theme in the cabin is described as ‘Southwestern’, and the wood, metal and leather surfaces you come across are all authentic. The dashboard is hand-wrapped in 100-percent full-grain leather, as well as the door cards and armrests.

The interior also features satin-chrome accents with a brushed-nickel metal badge sitting flush with the console lid while real barn-wood accents are also present. Other interior features include ambient lighting, a 12-inch Uconnect infotainment system and heated rear seats as standard on the Laramie Longhorn.

The exterior of the range-topping 2019 RAM HD is distinguished by the chrome-slat grille and header that surrounds the LED headlights, the chrome bumpers and side steps, as well as new 20-inch alloy wheel designs offered in a variety of finishes.

Combine this with the colossal power coming from the new 6.7-liter Cummings straight-six diesel engine at 400 hp and 1,351 Nm of torque and you get a pretty compelling package. The same engine is also offered with 370 hp and 1,151 Nm of torque, while the 410 hp 6.4-liter Hemi V8 acts as the default option. Towing capacity is rated at 14,288 kg in the RAM HD 3500.
