Just days before the all-new Toyota Supra is set to make its world debut in Detroit, a 45-second-long promotional video has been leaked online, revealing the reborn two-seater in full glory.

The red coupe in the video looks pretty much identical to the leaked photos first seen on SupraMKV forum, which clearly shows the design of the headlamps and accompanying DRLs. Toyota has also officially dropped what appears to be the final teaser of the Supra on its press website, followed by a cheeky caption that reads “have a Supra New Year.”

As for its powertrain, the road-going version will be using a 3.0 litre turbocharged straight-six petrol engine. While its output is unknown for the time being, it’s said the engine will be specifically tuned for throttle response and sportiness. Gearshift tuning, shift shock and shift speed will also be unique to the Supra, and less like its sister model, the G29 BMW Z4.

Meanwhile, as we eagerly anticipate the arrival of the new Supra, Toyota has taken to the Tokyo Auto Salon 2019 to reveal the GR Supra Super GT Concept, which uses a 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine as per DTM regulations. The car will replace the Lexus LC in the Super GT race series in 2020.
