With a bit of
assistance from Kahn Design, the Bentley Bentayga V8 has embraced the dark side, from where it emerged with a
series of visual customazations. The exterior upgrades start with a standard
Jet Black finish, or the optional Satin Black paint, as seen in this example,
accentuated by new carbon fiber front and rear aprons, a new vented grille with
a unique design, boot and roof wings, quad exhaust finishers, and dark chrome exterior trimmings.
The finishing touch
comes from a set of 23-inch black-colored rims wrapped in 295/35 Continental
rubber. You also get an adjustable lowering suspension module that allows you
to make its parked stance more aggressive at the touch of a button – if you’re
into that kind of display.
Moving on inside,
black Herringbone 3D Modular leather adorns the cabin joined by a
leather-wrapped steering wheel, and door panels and handle surrounds in high
gloss shadow. If that doesn’t satisfy you, the British tuner allows customers
to choose between a wide selection of leather colors, fabrics and trims to
create their perfect interior.
This Bentayga is
the base petrol model with the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. It pumps out 550
PS and 770 Nm of torque. The 100 km/h mark is hit in 4.5 seconds in the stock model, which goes all the way up to 290
km/h.
If Kahn’s Bentayga
has tickled your fancy, learn that it has 80 km on the clock and
will cost you upwards of £ 169,995, but we’re not sure just
how much more, as when we asked for more details, the company rep simply
re-directed us to their sale’s ad. For reference, the base price of the Bentley
Bentayga V8 starts from £ 136,200 in Britain.
