Bugatti’s current lineup includes two models, the
Chiron and the Divo – or three, if you count the Chiron Sport as a distinct
model rather than a derivative.
In more than one occasions, Bugatti execs have
confirmed that more models are on their way. And while it was recently made
clear that it will not be an SUV, nothing has been said about the possible
four-door coupe believed to have been spied last year. So, we still know
nothing about what they have in store.
Last week, rumors emerged about an alleged hypercar
with a whopping € 16 million (US$ 18 million) price tag. Believed to have been
commissioned by former VW Group chairman Ferdinand Piech, it’s reportedly
heading to the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. Upon contacting Bugatti, we found out
that they “do not comment on rumors and speculations”. Hardly surprising, that
one.
Probably fueled by the rumors concerning the alleged
hypercar, RainkPrisk imagined a speedster version of the Divo. The result is
quite aggressive, as the overall design has been sharpened to the point where
it looks more like a concept or a one-off ordered by someone extremely rich and
influential.
While a Divo Roadster seems like a long stretch,
we’ll probably see an open top Chiron in the future. Can’t wait to find out
what the talented Dr. Piech has ordered, though…
