Another day, another mad Lamborghini concept that
looks like it’s coming from the year 2999 or so. It’s called the Trono, which
means ‘throne’ in Italian, and according to its designers, it’s supposed to
depict a hybrid hypercar.
The Trono is the result of a collaboration between
designers Ramandeep Singh, Narendra Singh and Appu Koshy, and as far as we can
tell, it looks a lot like a mix between the Terzo Millennio concept and a
modern-day Huracan.
Unlike the Terzo Millennio, which looks like
something out of The Expanse, the Trono has more of a typical supercar/hypercar
form factor, and appears to be rather compact in size, although it’s hard to be
certain based on drawings alone.
So what’s to like about it? You probably already noticed
the horizontal Y-shaped headlight graphics, insanely angular styling, panoramic
windshield, massive wheels and beefy rear end with yet another pair of Y-shaped
light clusters, although these are joined together by a very thin light bar,
similar to the design of yet another Lamborghini render, dubbed Concepto X.
If we had to choose our favorite CGI Lamborghini
ever, we’d feel quite comfortable putting the Trono in the same category as the
Forsennato and the previously-mentioned Concepto X.
