It may be a
newcomer to the coupe SUV party, but the Audi Q8 is already on tuning houses’
radar. One of them is Lumma Design, which is readying an aftermarket kit that
will become available from summer, said to “enhance the extravagant appearance
of the SUV coupe and underline its individuality”.
In the official
renderings released by Lumma, the Q8 sports a front apron, rear diffuser, new
side skirts and fender extensions on all four corners. These can be joined by
winglets for the front apron and carbon fiber hood attachment, roof spoiler and
tailgate-mounted wing.
The tuning package
for the Audi Q8 also includes a set of new rims. These can be 22-, 23- or
24-inch in size and, unlike the body parts, they’re already in stock, with
Lumma saying that they can be used with wheel spacers to contribute to the
wider look of the vehicle.
The demo images
reveal an interior design that’s far from stock. In this case, the company’s
proposal is red and black leather for the seats, front and rear armrests, and
door panels. On request, they can trim the cockpit to each customer’s
liking.
What they won’t do
is upgrade the engine. So, if this is on someone’s list, then they’ll have to
get in touch with other tuners, such as ABT Sportsline, which will install
their engine control unit to the 3.0-liter V6 diesel. This allows it to produce
330 PS and 650 Nm of torque, up from the stock
286 PS and 600 Nm.
