Nearly seven months
after being officially unveiled at the 2018 Paris Auto Show, the brand new BMW
3-Series is now on sale in the United Kingdom. At launch, the range kicks off
with the 320d, which starts at £ 33,610 with RWD and £ 36,800 with xDrive all-wheel drive. Next month, the company will
introduce the new entry-level 318d, which will set buyers back at least £ 32,450.
Other models that
will go on sale in April are the 320i and 330d, while the 330e and M
Performance 340i xDrive will arrive in July. Standard specification in the base
SE grade includes adaptive LED headlights with cornering light, specific front
and rear bumpers and 17-inch or optional 18-inch wheels, as well as also
electric folding side mirrors, Parking Assistant with reversing camera, ambient
lighting and an 8.8-inch central instrument cluster.
The 2019 3-Series
Sport comes with extra gear such as Vernasca leather seats, front heated seats
and 18-inch alloy wheels, as well as revised exterior styling with high-gloss
black kidney grille slats and trim elements for the air intakes and rear apron.
Finally, the M
Sport spec gets even more exterior and interior features, such as a 12.3-inch
digital instrument cluster, 10.3-inch central instrument display and others.
A wide range of
optional extras are available for the brand’s new premium compact saloon. BMW
says there are six main packages and around 10 single options to choose from,
including the M Sport Plus, Technology and Premium packages.
