We knew AC Schnitzer was working on a tuning program for the G02 X4 since last September, although the project has just recently been completed. As a result, the crossover now looks more planted, meaner and on paper, it should be quicker than before.

First thing you notice is that this X4 stands closer to the road compared to a stock model. The custom suspension spring kit lowers the nose by 20 mm and the rear by 25 mm, allowing for improved cornering ability.

In terms of aerodynamics, this X4 is equipped with new front spoiler elements, a rear roof spoiler, rear boot lid spoiler, and a carbon fiber Racing rear wing. Other mods include the rear skirt protection foil, custom side emblems and new engine optics. Then there are the AC1 BiColor or anthracite alloy wheels, available in 19-inch and 20-inch configurations, plus the AC2 alloy wheels, measuring 22-inches in diameter. Finally, you have the AC Schnitzer ‘Sport’ carbon tailpipe trims, which you can get either with a chrome look or blacked out.

As for the interior, you get aluminum pedals, footrest, keyholder and an aluminum cover for the iDrive controller. The German tuner increased power output on the xDrive30d version from 265 PS to 315 PS, while the xDrive M40d received a push from 326 PS to 380 PS. Then if you opt for the custom downpipe with sports catalytic converter with 300 cpsi for the M40i, you get even better performance.
