Mercedes-Benz will
launch the C-Class Coupe in India on 14 March. The coupe version of the
mid-size luxury car will reach our market directly in the facelifted avatar.
The Mercedes C-Class Coupe is coming to India exclusively in the 43 4MATIC
variant from Mercedes-AMG. So, it’ll sport a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol
engine combined with the AMG Speedshift TCT 9G 9-speed automatic transmission.
The V6 engine puts out 390 PS at 6,100 rpm and 520 Nm of torque at 2,500-5,000
rpm.
The Mercedes-AMG C
43 4MATIC Coupe comes with the AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive system
with rear-biased torque distribution of 31 to 69% (front axle to rear axle),
and AMG ride control sports suspension with three different sets of damper
characteristics to select from, namely Comfort, Sport and Sport+. AMG Dynamic
Select allows the driver to select from Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Individual and
Slippery (new) modes. The entry-level AMG variant accelerates from 0-100 km/h
in 4.7 seconds and has an electronically governed top speed of 250 km/h.
On the outside, the
Mercedes-AMG C43 4MATIC Coupe features AMG bodystyling comprising the AMG
radiator grille with twin louvre in matte iridium silver, a powerfully sculpted
front apron with sporty air intakes, 19-inch AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels and a
muscular rear apron with a striking diffuser and round twin tailpipe trim
elements.
AMG Performance
front seats, 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster with three AMG-specific
display styles (Classic, Sport and Supersport), AMG Performance steering wheel
in Nappa leather and with Touch Control buttons and head-up display are some of
the main interior features of the 2-door coupe.
The Mercedes-AMG C
43 4MATIC Coupe will likely cost somewhere between INR 75-80 lakh (ex-showroom
Delhi).
