There’s a new flagship SUV at the BMW range, the X7. The automaker has released a new image gallery of the X7 in range-topping xDrive50i form, so if you were wondering what nearly US$ 94k gets you, this is one of your options – assuming that you’re looking for a luxury full-size SUV.

Measuring 5,164 mm long, 1,999 mm wide, 1,806 mm high, and with a 3,104 mm long wheelbase, the new BMW X7 is able to fit up to seven passengers on three throws of seats in comfort.

Customers in the U.S. get to choose between two engine options: the base xDrive40i model comes powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six with 335 hp and 447 Nm of torque, while the xDrive50i is fitted with the twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8, offering 456 hp and 649 Nm of torque. Both come with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. European markets don’t get the xDrive50i, but receive two diesels: the 261 hp xDrive30d and the 394 hp M50d.

The fastest X7 that will be available in the States, as BMW has already ruled out an M version, is capable of reaching 97 km/h in 5.2 seconds and maxing out at an electronically limited 209 km/h.

Standard equipment includes features such as a four-zone climate control system, a 10-speaker audio system, a three-panel panoramic glass sunroof, a wireless charging pad and a WiFi hotspot. However, the options list is quite long as you would imagine, enabling customers to tailor their X7 to their desired specification.
