Nikola has unveiled a new electric watercraft aptly
named the WAV which is expected to launch sometime next year during 2020. At
the current time very few specifications have been released by the company
apart from a few teaser images and and short video.
The electric motor produces instant torque, and all
of the electronics are protected by an IP68-rated waterproofing system. The
waterproof construction of the electric jet ski allows it to be submerged to a
depth of 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes and the electric watercraft features a
“wakeboard architecture” that results in sport bike-style ergonomics, say its
designers.
Unfortunately, no information on pricing or
worldwide availability has been released as yet for the WAV, but as soon as
information comes to light, we will keep you updated as always.
