British Land Rover
specialist Overfinch is launching the limited-edition Velocity, based on the
Range Rover 5.0 Supercharged. As with every creation from Overfinch, the new
Velocity isn’t for the faint hearted; the exterior has been updated with a new
hood, a new bumper complete with their signature grille and the suitably big
air scoops, lower side skirts, a tailgate spoiler and a rear bumper with
integrated diffuser and more prominent exhaust cut-outs.
Most of the bodykit
is made out of carbon fiber, including the hood’s powerdome, the front grille,
the wheel arch trims and the rear spoiler among other. The exterior looks are
completed with a set of 23-inch Cyclone wheels, which are available either in
gloss black or diamond turned finishes.
The cabin of the
display car has also been updated with an Ebony black quilted leather
upholstery, but Overfinch offers a pretty limitless range of options to its
customers. These options include for the first time in an Overfinch-tuned
vehicle the option of crushed carbon fiber detailing, which resulting in a
unique pattern for every piece.
Overfinch offers
the limited-edition Velocity treatment to both the standard- and long-wheelbase
versions of the Range Rover 5.0 Supercharged. The only hardware change is the
addition of the Overfinch Bluetooth performance active exhaust system, which
liberates the soundtrack of the supercharged V8.
Overfinch’s latest
take on the Range Rover looks pretty balanced if it wasn’t for that massive
diffuser on the back, but that’s just the world of big customized luxury SUVs.
