TVS Motor Company has extended its range in the
Bangladesh market with the launch of four products. The Chennai-based
two-wheeler brand has introduced the Apache RTR 160 4V single disc, Max 125,
Metro special edition and XL100 Heavy Duty ‘i-Touch Start’ in the country. All
four models will be sold via TVS Auto Bangladesh.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V single disc variant is
available in the Carburetor version only. It uses a 159.7 cc, single-cylinder,
4-valve, oil-cooled engine that delivers 16.5 PS at 8,000 rpm and 14.8 Nm at
6,500 rpm. The engine comes paired with a five-speed gearbox. The safety net of
SuperMoto (single-channel) ABS is not included. The motorcycle can be purchased
in RR Red, Racing Blue & Racing Black colours.
TVS Max 125 is propelled by a 123.53 cc 4-stroke
engine that develops 11 hp at 8,000rpm and a 10.8 Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. The
motorcycle comes equipped with front disc brake, secure storage space below the
seat, telescopic front and series spring rear suspension. It is available in
Black Red and Black Blue colours.
The TVS Metro special edition features new graphics,
longer seat and 3D Chrome logo. The 100 cc motorcycle comes equipped with a new
pillion handle and stylised mirrors as well. It is available in KS (Kick Start)
Mag and ES (Electric Start) Mag variants that are known as KLS and ELS
respectively.
The TVS Metro series is claimed to deliver superior
mileage. Its 'Econometer' features an Economy mode (Green) - aimed to indicate
the best fuel economy - and Power Mode (Yellow) - for the best performance. The
motorcycle draws power from a 4-stroke DURALIFE engine that delivers 7.4 hp at
7,500 rpm and 7.5 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. Its colour palette includes Black
Red and Black Blue.
TVS XL100 Heavy Duty ‘i-Touch Start’ comes with an
electric start technology called ‘i-Touch Start’. It is powered by a 99.7cc
four-stroke engine that makes 4.35 hp at 6,000rpm and 6.5 Nm of torque at
3,500rpm. Its features a detachable rear seat and a USB mobile charger that is
available as an accessory. Black, Blue, Red and Purple are the colour choices.
